Camping & Hotels

Don't forget that out here in the country anything located within 25 miles is considered "close by" and anything within 50 miles is stil reasonable.

Here are a couple options:

During online registration you can reserve camping space right at the start/finish line.  This is a full-service campground. Electrical hook up are available for your RV or camper if you wish.  There's also canoeing, kayaking, tubing and rafting right at the start -- perfect if you arrive early or stay an extra day.  (And great if you are traveling with non-pedaling companions or kids!)

We are holding a block of rooms here while supplies last:

When you call in tell them that you are with the Gran Fondo Catskills.

NOTE: If you are taking our optional transport from NYC the night before the ride, we will make ONLY two stops:

The Kartrite Resort

This is an all-inclusive huge indoor water park (the with hotel rooms.  Expensive if all you really want is a room; a deal if people in your party will be using the water park too.

We are confident that you will find this real photo of local lodging hilarious, offensive, or idiotic.  OK!

There a number of great Airbnb houses available nearby-- if you hurry. Do a search for places near Narrowsburg, NY.  Again, up here anything within 25 miles is considered close by. (I live here and our nearest full-service supermarket is 25 miles away).

Why not rent a deluxe RV or camping trailer for your group?  RV Share is sort of the Airbnb of campers -- you can rent a camper or RV from a private owner.  We are not affiliated with these folks in any way -- you make your own arrangements -- but thought you might be interested.  You may want to let the owner know that you do not need to drive their camper at all -- you just need it brought to Lander's Campground in Narrowsburg, NY, and then picked up there.
